Last week, members of the Paul Research Group showcased their work at the Hidden Symmetries and Fusion Energy Team Meeting.
The meeting featured the latest research updates from students and post-docs within the group. Reports addressed ongoing work on Shear Alfven continuum simulation (Abdullah Hyder), chaos detection using the Weighted Birkhoff Averaging (Alexandra Lachmann), results from the study on energetic particles and distance from integrability in QA and QH equilibria (Amelia Chambliss), an overview of the project on enhancing stellarator accessibility through port size Optimization (Antoine Baillod), and results from group's ongoing study of the energetic ion transport in stellarators due to MHD activity (Alexey Knyazev).
